Mixture of spices for chickpeas – 100gIngredients: coriander seeds, red chili peppers, turmeric, cumin, iodized salt, black pepper, fenugreek leaves, mustard, dried ginger, cassia, cardamom amom, cloves, nutmeg, asafoetida.Recipe : Soak 200 g of chickpeas overnight with extra water. Heat 50g of cooking oil in a large pan. Fry 120 g of chopped red onion until golden. Add two chopped tomatoes (120 g) and mix. Add 20g Chana Masala, 1 tsp. salt and chickpeas. Stir for 5 minutes and then add 800 ml of fresh water. Mix ½ tsp. baking powder. Bring to a boil and cover. Cook for 40 minutes on low heat. Cook alternately under pressure for 20 min. with 400 ml of water and ½ tsp. baking powder.
